Below is a link to an article in today's Washington Post. It appears that at least some are finally figuring out what we knew all the time; severely limiting the supply of prescription pain medications are pushing addicts back to heroin and hurting all of us and legitimate pain doctors.

All very true. You can't cure the illegal drug use problem by just taking away the drugs because they will just switch to something else. And often the alternative is worse.

I was shocked yesterday when my son told me his boss is taking neurontin and wanted to give him some. Thank goodness he's smart enough to not take anything. He said his boss almost fell off a ladder the other day because he's taking these for pain.....it's not just the narcotics we need to consider.

i knew this long time ago like you all i think its not fair im not on anything that falls in this category so im lucky but for some this well be devastating . hugs minnie
