I had a friend fall in a parkng lot. (She broke her back and shoulder. When I called 911, I said, "My friend fell in the parking lot. She says it hurts too much. She can't move her fingers on her right hand. She wants an ambualnce to come and take her to hospital.".
They asked me, "Is she breathing?"
I answered, "She told me she can't move her fingers."
They asked, "OK, But is she BREATHING?"
I said, "Yes, howelse would I know she can't move her fingers."
They asked me, "If your not sure she is breathing, did you check her pulse?"
At that point, I figured the only way I was getting her help was to answer the standard questions.
I had a friend call the police while I struggled with 911.
These things happen for real!
Attorney: Were you present when you picture was taken?
Witness: Are you shitting me???
OMG That just cracks me up.
