Hello Everyone! Trying to stay positive while dealing with this intense pain every single minute of every single day! I wish it would just go away...at least for a day so that I could feel "normal" again. I am bedridden/couch ridden nearly 100% of the time while my (stay-at-home) husband takes care of the kids and everything pertaining to the household (cooking, cleaning, laundry, mowing the grass, etc..) My husband has had his share of back pain which has been on and off for years. A few days ago, his back pain took a severe turn and it is now extremely difficult for him to move around. I am really worried. First, for his own well being.......2nd, because I don't know what we will do if he becomes completely immobile. We live in a small town with no friends or family out here, which means no support system. I don't even know how we would get groceries. This type of situation just causes me to be even more resentful that I cannot do anything, except lay here. I feel so hopeless to help my husband. My son is 13 yrs and my daughter is almost 12 yrs, so I told them the other day that we would need their help a little more around the house. They are great kids and have been helping with little things without hesitation. It's the "big" things I am worried about though. If it is not too much to ask, could you please say a prayer for my husband? I would so appreciate any positive thoughts you are willing to send.

I can total related to your post, I'm stuck at home due to pain and my children hwpave had to step up and help out more.
Helping around the house for the kids they take pride in everything now, which is great. It is teaching them to take pride in things and helps them when they move out.

Your story touched my heart. You had quite a responsibility at such a young age. The fact that you managed to run your household while still going to school is nothing short of amazing. You should be very proud of yourself & it sounds like your brother loves you very much. Thanks for sharing your story.

We have definitely "been through it", however, I lucked out when I found my husband because he is my "soul mate". We have never had any "big" arguments and are on the same page with just about everything. I already had health issues when I met him 19 yrs ago and he could have easily taken off in the opposite direction, but he didn't. He stayed by my side and has taken his vows "for better or for worse" to heart. He is just a really good man and I love him sooo much!

I am so sorry, but I forgot to answer your question about asking for assistance from a church. First of all, I would love to belong to a church. We have lived in this small town for 13 yrs, however, because of my physical inability to do much which includes sitting or standing for more than a few minutes, I have not been able to get myself involved in a church. I have wanted to find a church for so long but know that I could not possibly attend the services which is really frustrating. I think I will do some research on some churches in the area, just in case.......because you never know.
