Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...

The song is called Face the Pain by Stemm, and I always put the link to the song done with an MMA compilation. It's basically MMA fighters getting hit in the head, or taking a knee to the head. So for migraines, I think it's perfect.
I'll post the link, but be warned, the song would be put in the category of "metal", so it's not soothing in any way, shape, or form.

That's a beautiful song.. and apt.

Somehow..you don't look like a heavy metal fan :-)
I get it. Seems perfect for migraine pain
( although..I know you can't listen to that when you're having one?

I'm a huge fan of UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) which is mixed martial arts, and that song is the intro to the fights. I heard the lyrics and, I just got it. The lyrics fit the way I feel about my pain specifically, but the video I linked tied to the migraines because it was all punches to the head or knees to the head. Every time I watch that video all the way through I think, "Yeah, all that is how my head feels right now" LOL. Its brutal, but that's what they feel like, like someone is bashing my head in.
Funny enough...migraines can have a weird effect on me. Sometimes the only thing I can do is lay down in total peace and quiet, while other times I need to listen to loud pumping music while running around cleaning my house. It's an agitation I can't explain, and that is a different kind of migraine altogether.
"With A Little Help From My Friends" - The Beatles
"Haven't Got Time For The Pain" by Carly Simon
"Reach Out I'll Be There" - The Four Tops
"The Wind Beneath My Wings" - Bette Midler
"You Are Not Alone" - Michael Jackson
"Fix You" - Coldplay
"I'll Stand By You" - Pretenders
"Heal The Pain" - George Michael
"That's What Friends Are For" - Dionne Warwick and Friends
"I'll Be There For You" - The Rembrandts
"Thank You For Being A Friend" - Andrew Gold
I guess it really just depends on what speaks to you as an anthem really... I'm sure there are probably more songs we could come up with too, if none of those feel right...
Great list!! Some perfect ones, too.
Thanks for sharing.
Yvett...

Even though I feel 3000 years old ( I actually told one of my doctors that last week! ) this song got me dancing for a few seconds. I haven't danced in years! :) Feeling some hope or joy is always a good thing.
Thanks Jc, Tom Jones & Ed Sullivan. :D
It's not often I'm used in the same sentence as Tom Jones and Ed Sullivan. :-) :-) I used to love to dance, too, Hero .
