Sorry everyone... I've bern having a pretty bad go of it. Left the hospital leaking spinal fluid. Got a blood patch Monday that failed, was hospitalized Tuesday morning- given 1 IV bag, 2 rounds of dilaudid & an extra dose of phenergan, then sent home because the anesthesiologist wouldn't touch me... So I went to my PM office & saw a different dr for another patch. After running the epidural they tried unsuccessfully for 1.5 hours to get blood. Finally I was sent home. I returned Wednesday morning for another attempt at a blood patch. My dr got 20cc's of blood first try... Got home, was feeling good.... Then full back spasms started for 3 hours, until a friend recommended I try one of my xanax. Worked like a charm, but I fear I've damaged my 2nd patch as today I still have a slight headache. I'm pretty much on my backside all day every day. I hope by Monday I can work! Here's my update while I have the energy to type, I've not had much here lately. Please pray for continued progress in all of this misadventure:( Id just love to sit up without my head wanting to explode! BTW my leg pain is great, incision site uncomfortable but doable.

( I waited it out like an idiot)..
Hopefully that's just risidual from laying flat for a week.

Back to work today! Staving off a headache... still getting them. My husband was in a bad motorcycle accident Sunday evening... I'll shed more light on that later, I'll just say he's ok, and hopefully coming home from the hospital today!

I am so sorry for all the mishaps. What a mess. :(

I agree with JC, Pace yourself at work and home. With all of your complications I am surprised they are letting you return to work so soon. Super happy your leg is better, I know the headache will improve slowly.

I will be continuing prayers and adding your husband's injuries to my prayers for quick healing for both of you. I really do not like motorcycles.

Seems like "when it rains it pours" for you right now. Try to keep yourself as calm as possible. Best wishes for you and your husband.

Here's what's been going on with me since Sunday, I had mentioned my husband's motorcycle accident. Thanks for the prayers & well wishes for ME, now my husband needs them. Thanks in advance.

Update 4/27/15: Mike is awake, completely aware & responsive. Not feeling great. Broken collarbone, chipped sternum, small brain bleed that should heal on its own. Doing an MRI right now to make sure no neck ligaments are torn. I'll know more after the MRI results. So far so good, could've been much worse but he'll be at the hospital for a few days.

UPDATE 4/28/15: Michael's MRI came back clean, ligaments are good. Other injuries remain the same, but will heal fine at home. He is at home now, resting. I'll let everyone know when he's ready for visits. Just text me or send me a FB message, I'll let you know when is a good time. I want to thank everyone for your kind words, well wishes & prayers. All the support has been fantastic and overwhelming, coming from all angles. Much appreciated! Love you all.
