So my insurance company finally sent out my meds, they came today. Went to doc and got the injection, and now we wait... I hope that this works, at least a little. My body has a resistance to naproxen now, so I have Tylenol for pain. But the injection can take 2-3 weeks to start working. Its been rough, but I have had a few good days this week. Got to have lunch with a friend and just be normal.

My boyfriend is happy I'm feeling a bit better, but he knows it can change at the drop of a hat. Between him and my best friend I have people who push me (in a good way) and don't let me make excuses.

Pain is still there after eating, even on good days. Idk why, my stomach is fine. Just a head scratcher I suppose. Hope everyone else is feeling good :)

You have stomach pain and their giving you NSAIDS and Acetaminophen for the pain? These aren't the usual types of meds for stomach pain, unless it's menstrual or muscular. Naproxen and any other NSAIDS can actually make stomach issues much worse as can Tylenol (Acetaminophen). Have you seen a Gastroenterologist? I also am curious what injections your Dr. is giving you if you feel like sharing.

It's great that you have a good support system in place in your BF and BFF, I bet that makes things much easier on you.

I'm glad your having a good day, suxs to be waiting or hoping the pain doesn't return after going through so much with pain, if I understand write your just taking Tylenol for the pain so i hope beyond hope that whatever shot you got will help you with the pain, glad you have a support system in place

I hope your stomach settles down soon ..there are so many things that can set a stomach off hopefully its minor and will set it's self straight

The shot is depot lupron. It should shut down hormone production (cause menopause) to let my condition go away without surgery. I have pelvic congestion syndrome (vericose veins inside the pelvice.) They think it gets worse after eating because of the added blood flow to the general area. Not that I let that detour me, I love food lol.

I have not seen a gastro. but everything looked great on my last CT a few months ago. No other stomach issues, so its nothing major. Thank you for all the kind words :)
