that is true. I think it's funny to go through developed areas and see the names that a developer picked, like women's names, presidents names, andall these streets named after trees! really i wonder why they picked those names.

I lived in a small town, out in the middle of nowhere(desert, mind you) and it was called "Golden Valley", lol...... well, it was in a valley but "golden"???? Don't think they were kidding anybody on that one. Trees were scarce n tumbleweed in abundance. Maybe" Dust Valley" or a number of other names but definitly not anything Golden bout it.

Seriously...people were asking me when it was going to open and I wasn't the only one calling it that.

I considered saying, in my opening advertisement...'The nightmare on Elm Street has finally ended. Elm Street Styles is open for business!'

haha that would be hilarious!! It also makes it sound like not only have you finally finished but you are fixing all the nightmare hair styles on Elm Street. Good ad gimmick I think!

I had so many new clients during the first few months, all showing up with bad haircuts and horror stories of their own, that I considered renaming it, 'Cherry's Hair Repair!'.

In the back of my mind, I was thinking that if it didn't get busy enough as just a salon, I'd get a beer and wine license and call it, 'The Sip and Snip'.
