Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
Hope you are feeling better soon.
I hope you're making progress!
Hugs,
Cherry
Have you tried a TENS unit?
I hope you find something that helps soon.
Ya I don't do mornings if I can help it......which most of the time I can't LOL!
Thinking of you all!
There are mornings Tom my husband has to roll me & then attempt to push me up as my back wont unbend. Enough to make you want to scream. I get it. Sammy
Lately I've been getting up hours before him (when I sleep) and taking a LONG warm bath. It's like easing myself into the word. I've always taken baths in morning but now that I have a toddler, I need every bit of energy and less pain. So a bath before HE gets up allows me to get stuff going.
But today we have rain, so I'm aching and my leg is tensing. I HATE complaining and know that I'm lucky my RSD is only in one limb, but the past few days with the rain and cool weather has made it worse. Winter should be interesting.
I just feel bad that I can't get going b/c I've been w/o sleep for so long. I'm allowing my son a pajama day (we do that once a week) and he's happy. He gets an extra Sesame Street on PJ day, and art projects. Today's will be easy, like coloring! I guess even a 2 year old can get a day off when Mom is hurting and exhausted. As long as this is rare and not the norm, I can live with it.
