Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...

Welcome to the group and I understand when you say wish I did not have to be here, I have injuries just like yours somewhat I had surgery on C-4 C-5 and my neck is actually the one success that I have had. Now the back surgery is a different story it did not help at all and pretty much in the same position then before and I can say I have tried everything to control this pain and now I am resigned to know I will just have to live with it.
That is ok because I know I have done everything and I am always looking for ways to deal with it. They may be hocus pocus and not help but then I mark it off my list and go on.
Getting disability can for some be a trying time and yes I got denied the first time I applied and then got a lawyer and then got approved I personally think getting a lawyer is a good idea they do so many of these a year and know what to do and plus that is extra stress that is off my shoulders and onto theirs. I had to pay a flat rate that is state wide on disability claims and he took it out of the back pay so it was not a huge sting. When you have to deal with pain it is always nice to be able to not deal with things that cause stress.
Hope you are having a good day
Personal experience, great people. You know, I have time when I talk to my pain, but I don't let it talk back.
Give this group a chance. It may enhance your quality of life.
