Yes I have nodes that are an issue which put me into stage one. I too get fatigued but maybe it's the holidays? If I don't stay up too late or drink much I seem to have more energy. Hard to know if I'm any more tired than a 50 year old mom of three kids. Hang in there

Dx'd more than 2 yrs ago and what brought me to the doctors was swollen lymph nodes and fatigue and felt like my energy level as near zero- I now take Vit d3 1000mg w/500 mg vit c for absorption and went back to the gym and yoga- hate exercise but have more energy than I've had in several yrs- long before I knew anything about CLL. My nodes are swollen almost all the time,especially one which becomes harder and more pronounced @ times- My doctor says to pay more attention to patterns and less to the swelling and to expect fluctuations- so that's what I do- I try to not make CLL what my life is about, just a part of life- remember, anxiety is a energy zapper too! good health and peaceful heart for 2013

You are not alone in the way you feel! The good nes I have learned is that the fatigue can go in and out.I might be blasted with weakness and fatigue for a week and the have a really good period.I think we go into fatigue when our body is fighting off an infection.My numbers are the same as you and am 48. I try to get support from friends and family when I am down BUT I ALSO point out how good I feel when I am not exhausted. You are not imagining this.

I was just diagnosed with CLL last week. Happy New year right? The swollen nodes in my neck is what led to the biopsy and diagnosis. Some days I have a lot of pain and fullness and then the next, it is better but never goes away. I am at Stage 0. My WBC is at 16.2 and my lymphocytes, RBC, and platelets are perfect according to my oncologist. I have been reading that green tea helps with the swelling of the nodes but haven't tried it yet. I also notice that I get tuckered out much easier than I ever did before. Sounds like we are pretty similar in out symptoms.

I had the massive fatigue. I had moved to another state and in August 2011 was worked up for Suspected Non Hodgkins Leukemia which turned out to be diagnosed as CLL. The tests, the trips to the Cancer Center, the fear, the anxiety plus adjusting to new environment. My cancer Center Closed. I was shoved off to another Cancer center. I would fall asleep at 2 in the afternoon, then in August 2012 my Doctor decided I had a Heart Condition. I was sent for a massive Cardiac Workup which turned out to be nothing. I was exhausted. I had chronic Bronchitis and was coughing all night (bark, bark, bark, bark). Finally it was decided that the cough was the BP Med Lisinopril that caused the cough and Lovastatin caused the neck, shoulder and back pain/spasms that kept me awake. I quit coughing and started sleeping pain free and now about 3 months later I feel I have my old energy back. I am on Watch and Wait.
AlC 5.5 WBC 13.6, RBC, Hg, Platelets normal. I have been taking green Tea extract for over a year. Someone on this site recommended it (I can't stand the Tea).

Good day to all! I agree with interiors. Energy levels fluxtuate. Maybe we are paying too much attention to every twinge, but there certainly are days that just seem so much longer than another. I take the stairs at my office, seven flights, in an attempt at getting a little bit more exercise. Within the same week I can experience a day where I go without much trouble, and another (or two, three?) when the climb is just exhausting. I get to my desk feeling it is time to go home! Both oncologist and regular physician tell me to keep pushing on as we need to maintain as much strength as possible for this battle.

I was diagnosed in September 2013 through a routine check up. That was 3 weeks before my daughter's wedding. I have swollen lymph nodes under the arm. I also have a lump on my leg which I believe is a swollen lymph node and I have pain in different parts of my leg. Does anyone else have this? Fenway5, I too wondered if the fatigue was due to the fact that I was 63 and took care of my 3 grandkids every day...lol.

I also wanted to ask about the green tea supplements. Do they make you sick to your stomach?

I hadn't noticed that the green tea extract made me sick. I usually take it after breakfast with my Vitamin D. Just take it with some food and you should be fine. I can't swear that either one will do any good, but I feel like they are helping me. I do feel fatigue, but I am a 62 year old fat grandmother and dropping thirty pounds would probably boost my energy like magic!

Glad too see and sorry to hear there are many Human beings going thru the same STUFF as myself. Diagnosed 06/08 stage iv cll and to date no treatment. Last couple of months fatigue is kicking my butt and shortness of breath and very pain full mid neck region lymph nodes. Saw hematologist/oncologist today. wbc 18,600 and lympocite 10300 which these numbers are down since 3 months ago but the neck pain and fatigue are just 2 much.........He stated might be a good time to start chemo..............this is a road I have not traveled and not sure I want to yet any help starting down this bumpy road would be greatly appreciated....start now or just wait thanks 52 year old male
