Working to hard

This afternoon I'm not doing so well. I've been working too hard. The worst of it is I can hardly bring myself to stop working. Anyone else out there prone to this type of stupidity?

Ditto. Even when I know better and I have the time to rest, I usually feel like I should be working or at least trying. Some of that is why we are here in the first place, the inability to allow ourselves to heal.

Yep. There's a fine line between bravery and stupid and I cross it all the time. I am a Type A personality locked in a Type B body. I live by the motto, "I do what I can, when I can because I am not guaranteed anything." One thing that I have changed, I no longer spend time and energy doing things just because someone else wants or expects me to. I spend it things that "I" want or expect me to.

Yep, I'm not working anymore but my last job I was terribly ill but kept working long hours and would also go in on the weekend.

The money was good and the work easy, but more importantly I felt I could do something and be useful, and anything would be better than going home where I would just have to fall into bed.
