In the summer months I can function quite well pain-wise, not pain-free but at a minimal level - enough to live a reasonably decent life (no work but self care and the occasional outing).
Come the winter months my pain levels ramp up a whole lot as does my fatigue, those months are spent mostly at home trying to find ways to entertain myself. The pain meds come out once more until the spring appears once again.
I hear in here a lot that many sufferers can't cope with the summer heat but I guess many of you are in the US. I am in the north of Scotland so our summer temperatures are probably very similar to what most experience in autumn or spring, although this year I suspect Scotlands summer was more like your winter temperatures.
I have as yet found no solution to this problem other than to hunker down at home and make myself as comfortable as possible, ask for help from those around me and remind myself that it is not forever, that Spring will come around again !
