My hope is that very soon, before my grandchildren may have to face this scourge...that there will be a cure, a vaccine to help protect our precious young ones from ever, ever getting this hideous illness. I can live with it. I don't think I could watch my grandchildren suffer through it. Nope. I couldn't!
Darla, I get scared to death sometimes that my daughter has this. She's still so young, but she is already showing signs. I know it can pass on through pregnancy. I hope and pray she will be alright. I couldn't bear to watch her go through this. It's one thing for me to suffer, but for her too, would be too much. I'm hoping for a cure too.
If I don't push myself, get enough to eat, and have positive interactions with people I will often feel good for most of the day.
That doesn't mean I'm running around the block or anything. It usually means I remember to stand up slowly, spend most of the day sitting and relaxing, and no one is saying negative things about what I can't do anymore.

It's wrong to persecute people because they are ill. And since we can't fight back, it's cowardly as well.
