Weird things happening

Does anybody else have really cold hands?? In a normal temperature room, I wear a jacket and my hands are like ice while I have a low-grade fever. Today they feel really weird...maybe I am just noticing or paying attention now. I have an appointment with a Rheumatologist next week, hopefully answers will result instead of more questions... Also-have any of you had a positive C-Reactive Protein test??

I was diagnosed with Rainauds about a year ago now. Seems those of us with CFIDS are more prone to all the autoimmune disorders....
I have to wear socks all year long, and all night in bed. I went two days last summer without them when the temp was 90 and I was out in the sun, it was lovely.
CRP - you betcha! Mine is very high consistently. Generally about 26..yes, 26, not 2.6... I'm an inflammatory mess.

I was diagnosed with Reynaud's too. Usually my hands and feet are cold, but not always. I also have a low grade fever and it was one of my first symptoms besides fatigue. I think my CRP was always normal. Good luck at your appointment. Hope you get answers. Keep us updated!

I also get cold hands and feet. I found out through my medical nutritionist that my body temperature is below normal, which explains this and why I have trouble tolerating the cold in winter. You can have your thyroid checked, since this is one of the symptoms of a troubled thyroid. But for now, which helped me, buy yourself the inexpensive supplement Kelp tablets (around 150 mcg.), which contains Iodine. This will raise your body temperature to normal and your cold hands and feet will feel warm. I take one a day with a meal in the morning and I'm great. It also keeps you relaxed and feeling normal with no tiredness.

Our body temperature regulation system is one of the many systems that malfunctions. Cold hands, cold feet, hot hands, hot feet, numb hands, numb feet, etc. But it is a good idea to get checked out whenever you suddenly experience a new symptom.

I always tell people that my thermostat is broken. I am always colder than everybody else. To the point where I will need a sweater when other people are comfortable. My feet are cold, my hands are cold....almost all the time. My body temp. runs around 97...so that's a bit low.

I'm also HEAT intolerant! So, as annoying as the cold hands and feet are, if you put me in the sun, I start to sweat, get dizzy and nauseous and nearly pass out. Like I said, my thermostat is broken.

I'm just a flippin barrel of fun!!! : )
