Anyone tried valtrex for chronic epstein barr?

Knuffles: I tried Valtrex for the first time last week. I've suffered with canker sores most of my adult life. Nothing has worked except L-Lysine, and then, not always. Lately, I seem to have one or more blisters every day.

The doseage was: four pills (only): two pills, 12 hours apart. And: it worked! Overnight! I'm ecstatic.

Also, my pharmacist gave me glycerine (which is really just sugar, I think) for me to apply when I do get them again. I don't know if it will work but it's cheap enough.

Do you mean the Valtrex worked or the L-Lysine?
