But it fell out like crazy after I had bariatric surgery, about 1/2 of it to the point I wore hats for a while.
Biotin helps but only if you are low on biotin so I'd suggest a multi B vitamin with biotin in it. When mine was very bad, it was B1 (thiamine) I was low on, not any of the others...oh. and Iron. Other than that the most effective thing I have found is more preventative than curative, and that's using shampoo and conditioner without sulfates (sls) I use loreal evercreme but I'm sure there are others. I've nearly always had a rash on my scalp, and it was sensitive and now it's clear and healthier so we/I may be sensitive to that chemical. Also I put about a tablespoon of melted coconut oil on my scalp for the night about every two weeks (sleep on a towel). Then the next morning I comb it through and wash it all out an hour or so later. It really helps keep it less likely to break from all our time in bed.
