After reading some of the posts today my mind went in this direction:
When one of our old cars broke down I felt really sad.
When my son made the A team I was happy.
When the Boise State Broncos won the Fiesta Bowl I cheered.
When my husband's biopsy came back normal I was relieved.
When it's hard to get up in the morning and the pain keeps pounding I feel frustrated and discouraged.
And the list goes on.
It's normal to let other people and situations influence how we feel.
It's important to try to not let other other people and situations determine who we are.
Ask yourself how much of your mood is influenced by things outside of yourself and outside of your control. Think about how strong you are on the inside.
If you feel so inclined, list two things that tell about how strong you are.
