Had a read of the first bit you posted. It sounds really good. I think it was just the introduction I read?!? So, I didn't get into the substance of the book. But I think you're ideas for an interactive book filled with honesty and hope is really good.

Just a wee note, it might be a good idea to consider using another bible version for different verses? biblegateway.com is a brilliant resource, and if you wanted to put the verses you're planning to use, it would give you how it's said in different bible versions. It might just be useful to get the clearest version for whatever point you are trying to make, and make it more accessible to those who are not used to the king james version

Thanks. I've been thinking about what to do since so many people can't focus for very long. Each chapter is three or four sections so I'm wondering if I should do one section at a time. I'm wondering what I'm doing writing for people with brain fog. haha It just may not work at all. I'm one of those people that reads stacks of books every month. So grateful that I can still read. I appreciate your suggestions.

Will you be self-publishing via Lulu? it's print on demand, not a lot of money needed up front.

Haven't looked into that yet. Thanks for the suggestion. I have one publisher here in Idaho that I might try - they publish in this genre. If they no-like-a-da-book I will check back with you and your resourcefulness. haha (run away.....)

Have been reading "The purpose Driven life" recently. Have you ever read it? It's just, the format for it reminded me of what you wanted to achieve, and I wandered maybe you could get some ideas? Like, it's written in short chapters, with short paragraphs and quotes and questions at the end to think on or whatever. I think the way it breaks up the text is good, some quotes in big writing at the side almost like magazines do?

Yes. Thank you for your interest. It's interesting to just put the manuscript in blog format - it changes how I read it. I realized there are too many words.

Sometimes people on here will write long posts and if they don't have breaks for paragraphs, etc. I lose my ability to focus and start skimming.

I need to revise and edit. I was hoping people here would be more responsive but then I remembered that so many struggle with reading.

I don't know why some people struggle more than others with neurological problems. I know what it feels like to have my ability to focus float away. Sometimes I have to read things over and over but I close my eyes for a while and then open them and try again and again. Reading is my escape from this illness and my contact with the world.

Some people simply cannot concentrate. My heart breaks for them. I know something of what that feels like, but not long term. I feel blessed. I can't imagine a life without books.
