I was told I had post-viral-fatigue syndrome and every doctor I've known uses it as a synonym for CFS because in a huge majority of cases whatever causes CFS is triggered after a virus like the flu or mono or something . . . .
I was just wondering anyone got triggered by a severe flu like illness then turn into chronic.
Since I have this illness, I feel that I lost my life/goal. So strange!

Yes this does take away the vision we had in our lifes when we were not sick. You have to start all over again and give up the old self and some goals and expectations you had with your future. Things change, and you have to adjust to them and find peace. This can take time but you will be ok
