It took about 18 months for my body to stop making active antibodies against the virus. Apparently, I was one of the 3% of adults that this virus hits like a locomotive engine!
I was a completely healthy person before this virus came along. There's no family history of CF or fibro even with cousins.
The other one I've heard is that many of us have had the active form of Epstein Barr virus which is mononeucleosis. I had mono when I was 15 and wonder if it had something to do with the parvovirus taking me down so hard later in life.
It's all a crap sandwich, isn't it? Lol!
