I might also suggest if you aren't taking b-vitamins that they are very good for nerve issue and circulation, especially b12 and b1.
Until then, I don't know about you but it helps if I do dishes or take a bath/shower. Warm water and all.
I've had numbness in my fingers and my toes, but I'm always cold as part of my CFS and heat warms them right back up.
I always call the doc. when something new pops up!! He almost always calms me down!!!
Let us know what you find out!!! xox
I went to see the doctor Thursday as I have stupidly really over done things and made myself pretty sick! I mentioned the numbness in my fingers and she said it was nothing to worry about and more than likely a to do with the illness. She said sometimes illnesses like lupus can cause damage to the nerve endings in fingers and toes causing numbness or it could be poor circulation again caused by cfs/lupus.
A small study was done recently that suggested it may be small fiber neuropathy.

The worst is I wonder if part of why I get dizzy, get headaches, have brain fog, feel "loopy", is maybe I'm not getting enough blood to my brain. Especially since these symptoms may start or increase just from standing up. Also laying down makes it not as bad.
My boyfriend pointed out that if you sit for too long, or are in one spot too long (like if bed bound) than your body had to work harder to get the blood from your feet to your heart. It can help to walk around.
I usually can't just go for a walk. But if I'm feeling especially bad I try to remember to get up and do something. Even if it's just a trip to the bathroom or go lay down.
I try to do something when I can, but sometimes it isn't much. I really do fold one article of clothing, put it away and then go back to the computer. Sometimes just that much is a lot. Braking it up means I can do more throughout the day and crash less.
