Hey there,



So I came here on a whim even though I still technically have no idea what is wrong with me. This has been a struggle for about 6-7 years. My blood is normal, MRI normal, ENT stuff all normal. Apparently, I'm the picture of health but my body is fighting some invisible battle. I have been diagnosed with General Anxiety Disorder and have tried about 10 medicines with barely any change to my fatigue issues.


Main complaints: FATIGUE. I could sleep 10+ hours and still feel tired. Light-headed, dizzy feeling. Sometimes I have feelings that are kind of "out of body." Not like I'm floating above myself watching or anything like that,  more so just so out of it and tired and I have to remind myself to nod politely when someone is speaking to me or to say "yeah" so they don't think I'm not paying attention.


I just am tired of being tired. I recently visited my boyfriend's grandparents who seem to have tons more energy than me. Either everyone is just faking it better than I can or something is wrong with my body.

Sounds like CFS. Sorry for you. I have had it for 12 years now but it does get better eventually. Just rest as much as you can that is what helped me get better.

Hi Meggo, welcome to the site. That sounds very similar to my experience of CFS, out of body almost like I'm drunk and just so out of it with heavy brain fog that often having a simple conversation can be quite hard. You aren't alone!

Hi, I can relate to all your symptoms. They can be debilitating, especially the brain fog which nobody seems to understand.
I thought it was normal to feel this way so I pushed
myself to function. I've been called lazy which is not true.
Long story short, I've been through every test imaginable without an official diagnosis other than dystemia which is very vague in my opinion. Anyway, the only thing that has helped was Adderal.
It's a controlled substance so it's difficult to get a prescription because people tend to abuse it but for people who actually need it it's a Godsend. I wish all the best.
