Usually the Pepto helps, telling me it's nausea, which I have had often since being diagnosed with CFIDS. But nausea doesn't usually "hurt". This feeling you speak of maybe hurts, and that's why you are questioning it.
I totally get it. It's a quirky CFDIS thing I think....and it's more nausea for me.
Blessings to you today, hope this helps. We have so many stupid symptoms with this illness. Just remember, it's not in your head. You have tummy troubles!! I get it!
This happens to me a lot. My general guideline is that if I feel that way but haven't eaten in 5-6 hours, then I am probably hungry and even if I am nauseous, I should consume calories for my own good. I just make an effort to eat easily digestible things- cooked cereals, cooked veggies, yogurt, etc. and then liberally dose with Tums.
God Bless you ALL for this website:)

Anyone have any other tips they can share about how they "solve the problem" of Hypoglycemia???
Food allergies is an interesting thought. I have a few other symptoms that I thought might be allergies but hadnt thought that the nausea might be part of that.
Thanks all.
Thankfull I am not nausea's very often.
When I am dehydrate it is more common for me to be nausea's but thats probably a reaction to some past creations that have become almost perminant residants in my fridge and as the sight of them makes my wife sick too I think I am normal in this sence.
Sorry nicky I cant help you more.
Have a fun day. Make someone laugh.

Hypoglycemia can be helped with magnesium glycinate, eating protein for breakfast (not cereal or porridge or even fruit) and dealing with any possible parasites. Parasites can make it worse, so can grapefruit seed extract or goldenseal (for me anyway!)
ME has nausea as one of its very typical symptoms, so I would go with that rather than messing with hydration and food allergies and the like. Backtrack to see if you over-exerted or got into something stressful before you got nauseous. See if rest and relaxation alleviates the nausea.
I get different degrees of nausea whenever I get stressed, depending on how severe the stress was. It also seems to make me teeter on the edge of indigestion so I have to be really careful about what I eat. Things like breadsticks, plain white crackers, and oatmeal can be friends indeed. Ginger is another good friend.
