Also, a large number of us have suffered with mono at some point in our lives. I had it when I was in college. I became disabled with CFS at age 57. My Epstein-Barr titre is WAY up there. Doctor tells me that this high title shows that I have HAD mono, not that it is active now. If you ask me, having CFS, on my worst days, reminds me very much of the six weeks I was bedridden with mono..... it's complicated, Right?
