I agree with Triunfadora!! My glands are always swollen, and my throat is always sore. It starts of pretty bad in the morning and gets better as the day goes on. I do not get ear infections.
If you have sore ears, or ear pain, you have to see a doctor. You could have an ear infection brewing and not know it. Do you have a fever? That would be an indication of an infection, as well.
The hardest part with CFS is that when we develop a new symptom, we don't know if it's coming along with the CFS or if something else is going on. For a long time, in the beginning, we do end up at the doctor's until we learn what symptoms are illness related (CFS) and what is something new, that needs treatment. It's one day at a time, one symptom at a time with this stupid thing.
Please see a doctor if ear pain persists!!! xo
Sorry I can only provide moral support.
Hang in there you are not alone.
Big hug!
There's an old folk remedy of eating raw onion for sore throat...former President Clinton uses that one. Onions have been proven to have strongly antibiotic qualities...garlic too.
And there's always aspirin too. It's old-fashioned now, with all the higher-priced remedies on the shelves. But it actually works surprisingly well sometimes, especially where there's inflammation going on. In earlier days, it was considered a wonder drug.
