Lexapro is a SSRI antidepressant it should only be prescribed after all dopamine antidepressants have been trialed. A dopamine, or a noreadrenalin deficiency are much more likely to be the missing neurotransmitter in a CFS patient than an seratonin deficiency (SSRI).
