I take a small dose of Lexapro daily and it seems to help where the Wellbutrin doesn't (or it's just my imagination!)...Anyway I like it because if you compare the number of side effects with other meds and Lexapro, Lexapro has the smallest list of any of them. I've had way too many problems will adverse things from prescribed drugs, so it's worth a shot to try.

Crashed my blood preasure! Horrible experience. 10 times worse than a blood sugar crash and those suck!!!! Luckily I was in a doctor's office when it happened or I fret to think of what could have happened.

Lexapro was the FIRST thing I tried. Crashed my blood sugar as well in addition to making me feel zoned out. Prozac is the best I've found so far ...

I only took one tablet but it almost killed me. Let me explain. I was misdiagnosed as being stressed out and not having any kind of disease. What I didn't know at the time was that I had Secondary Adrenal Insufficiency due to an infiltration disease caused by a biotoxin illness. When I asked the doctor who finally diagnosed me if what I experienced was close to adrenal crisis (this results in death)she said yes. I don't know why Lexapro caused me to almost go into adrenal crisis but my guess is that Lexapro does something to the HPA axis. I will never take it again. Is this survey being done on behalf of the manufacturer of Lexapro?

It was disgusting, total sexual disfunction, didn't touch the pain, messed up all my other emotions to the point where I felt I was not myself. I was escalated to the max dose it was yuck.
Lexapro is a SSRI antidepressant it should only be prescribed after all dopamine antidepressants have been trialed. A dopamine, or a noreadrenalin deficiency are much more likely to be the missing neurotransmitter in a CFS patient than an seratonin deficiency (SSRI).
