I think I would go on a daytrip to San Fransisco, walk all around the city and go to the museums. And I would do it while eating anything I wanted!

Assuming that money is no object, I would fly my family [kids, grand-kid] to Orlando. We would do all the theme parks and eat junk food. Then I would take my dogs for a long walk in the woods.

I'm using the full 24 hours.

Play all of the golf that I could during the daytime & then go to a baseball game that night.

Damn - I'd play a game of 5 -a-side football - Have lunch then blaze the dancehall reggae out my sound system and have a massive party. Just one day off would be incredible - if only I could just sawp bodies with somebody just for one day a week - imagine.

I'd do a full day of travel/sightseeing somewhere with LOTS of walking and also fit a long run and my french horn in there!

One Day,

The one day I'm hopeing for is the one day smeone finds the keys to unlock the ball and chain of my ME/CFS and FM etc.

One day I will walk free, fully able to again be the real me. No more weighed down by the agony of this illness.

Oh what a happy day that one day will be.

Damn, even now I swear my brain vibes to this inside my skull.

Since I also have multiple chemical sensitivities, I am unable to tolerate motel rooms and airplanes. So this day I would be free of chemical sensitivities as well, and I would take a trip to the beach with my husband and stay overnight in a nice motel, drink some champagne or something like that, and eat at a really nice seafood restaurant.

I would head straight for the beach and jump in the ocean. I'd sunbathe in the afternoon. I'd eat outside a yummy meal with all my close friends and family, and then go to the boardwalk and ride the rides and eat fudge......then I'd go back to the beach and sit under the stars, right on the ocean front...with my hubby and stare up at the stars as I listen to the waves lapping against the shore.

I wouldn't go to bed. Not if I had only one day. I wouldn't close my eyes..at all!

I'd roller skate along the street, ride a bike, climb a hill, go to the funfair, hire an open top car and drive around town with the stereo up loud with my hair flying in the wind.

I'd then have a massive party surrounded by my family and friends where I would drink lots of wine and dance the night away.

All this would be captured on film for me to look at any time I felt down.

Now when is this fantastic day happening?

Oh wow, so many things I want to do again. I guess I miss the outdoors the most. I want to take my grandson camping because he's never been. I want to take him to the beach and explore the tidepools and laugh and play in the sun and water. I would love to take him sledding in the snow because he's never seen snow. I would love to go to the mall and go try on all the new fashions. That is something I haven't done in 15 yrs. I would love to just take a walk......

I'd love to go to all the places in the Chicago area with my family that we used to enjoy going to together. Have lunch in the Loop, see all the great stuff at the Art Institute, walk along the lakefront, shop on the Magnificent Mile and eat dinner at one of the great restaurants in Chicago. I think I could squeeze all that into 24hours! Just being in downtown Chicago makes me happy. Just imagine if I could actually do something fun while I was there.....

Go to the Metropolitan Art Museum in NYC all day. Visit friends on the way home.

Just wish it was TWO days. I would so enjoy doing the first day and then really enjoy the second day without feeling awful!

I absolutely love Chicago. Many times I've ended up there on the weekend layover and spent the time well exploring the museums and enjoying great food and music. I would never be bored in Chicago.
