Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Support Group
Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) describes a sense of exhaustion and post-exertion malaise, even when you have gotten enough rest and sleep. The disease is characterized by six months of incapacitating fatigue experienced as profound exhaustion and extremely poor stamina, and problems with concentration and short-term memory. The cause is unknown, but it is a...
With that, I am new and have more questions than answers. I have found remarkable success lately combating a poorly diagnosed fungal infection (systemic and gastro). Currently I am taking two medications that have accelerated my progress much much faster than I have become accustomed to in the last two years. I tell you because my doctors did not find it, I did through ordering my own tests. Most fungal tests are poorly done too and often result in false negatives.
If this is something you want to investigate, let me know and I can guide you how to get started. Again, this worked for me, and so far only short term and I cannot conclude what the final result will be from taking a broad spectrum of anti-fungals, I just hope that I find others who have the same issue as I do and save them from the hell I experienced last two years.
** I also did a short term antibiotic (tetra version, not penicillin version due to MRSA infection in my past), I am also taking massive probiotics including fermented carrots, sauerkraut, water kefir, and broad spectrum refrigerated probiotics.**
happy to offer continued info on my own progress if you like, and would love some in return. Would appreciate in return what insight you have on staying healthy and somewhat productive. Hope we can fight this together.

About your fungal infection, I'm so glad that you may be on to a good track. The first couple of years were the worst for us in every way. He was very dizzy and feeling just horribly almost continuously. Little by little during the latter part of the second year, he began incorporating some minor exercise, and it has seemed to help. He does a light yoga class on youtube and some weights. Now he often will also go on short walks a couple of times per day on the days when we don't have something that he wants to attend with us. I do believe that he's been tested for different fungi, but I'm not sure and will look into this. He suffers from stomach issues that we have been told are related to the CFS - he has had gastritis which he hasn't had again and now he only has some gas pains and a bit of reflux which he says are not too horrible. The exercise has helped with both of those.
Anyway, thanks again and I hope things continue turning up for you.
