But back to Gupta since that is what you are inquiring about. Some people make incredible progress. Some become well. There is no doubt in my mind that mind body programs are helpful. The Gupta Program's DVDs cost about $200. It takes a lot of dedication to follow through, but there is a forum. There are also coaches for a fee. Recently there is now a US coach.
There needs to be research on whom it works for best. Does it work best for those of us who are just burned out emotionally & physically? Can it help those of us who may have a genetic issue that threw us into CFS?
Personally for me it was worth $200 for the shift of perspective - to focus on positive thoughts, breaking negative patterns. It's cheaper than therapy in that regard. And like I said it helps may.
I am a bit reluctant as I feel like I am at peace with my 'new limits' and I don't suffer from depression or anxiety. Perhaps it's good for people that do???..........
