It took me a while to get used to the taste, but now I like that flavor of the sea. It's good in soup, and I like it in macaroni dishes too.

There are different types of goiters. Most are the ones that grow outward and become so large they disfigured neck/face which lead to surgery. The other is mine is growing inward that will press on breathing and eating tubes. It has been stable and I do take iodine/iodize liquid supplement. I hope it stays that way. Do not do well after surgery.
At times it does hurt that side of my neck, face, shoulder... makes me feel bad. I never thought about my ME/CFS symptoms. In 1996 I was diagnosed hypothyroid and on med for a year but had to quit. It raced my heart. Strange I never became hypo again. There is a great deal of information on the internet on thyroid and goiters.
I hope you feel better soon :)
