Anybody ever try antifungals for sinus pressure? I've actually tried candida diets and supplements before as well as Diflucan, but according to Dr. Teitelbaum, not everyone responds to Diflucan and he seems to think most sinus problems are yeast related at their core. He mentions using Nizoral if Diflucan doesn't work as well as an anti fungal sinus spray (that I've been curious about for a while). I'm thinking of bringing this up with my doc and giving it a try if she thinks it's a good idea. Has anyone else tried an antifungal approach for sinus problems? What was your experience?
I tried a sinus rinse once, and that led to really severe headaches and bleeding. So I just leave things alone and stick to things like onions and hot peppers to clear the congestion.
But the idea of using antifungals seems very logical. I hope someone has information about this.
