Any surgery is going to make us weak and we take longer to heal....just a reminder in case you feel quite a bit more fatigued as a result of the appendix removal.
If they are inferring that your CFS fatigue was NOT CFS, but rather fatigue from a bad appendix, I would have to strongly disagree.
A bad appendix, gallbladder, kidney infection.....any of these things can strike us in addition to our CFS. It makes us sicker till the situation is resolved. It is not the cause of our CFS. A bad infection/flu/virus.....could lead the healthy person into the CFS realm though. Doctors simply don't do their homework about our illness. They don't know if they're coming or going, so we have to watch out for ourselves. That's why I love this site so much. We need each other!! Often to protect each other from stupid doctors!
