5mg of cortef twice a day. Have wanted to go off it to a non
perscription but haven't been successful with that so far.
Not sure which one Teitelbaum uses? Did it work for you
before and do you do the saliva tests? good luck with this.
I haven't tried Dr. T's, but am experimenting with IsoCort, a sublingual plant cortisol. It's given me a little boost. I'm starting off slow & building up. I also used Miladregen, but it is from the the whole adrenal gland so has adrenaline in it & can make me hyper.
It probably is a good idea to test. ZRT Lab will sent you a saliva test & email you the results without a Doc's order. Bless them.
If you test high during parts of the day, Seriphos is a great supplement to bring down cortisol.
Good luck - let us know how it goes.
