I just joined this group today and read your post. My advice would be to get your iron level checked by a doctor as soon as possible. You are so young to be feeling this way. The quicker you can get a diagnosis and get treated , the sooner your quality of life will return.
There are so many health conditions that cause fatigue, you need tests taken to find out what is going on. I know mine is caused by diabetes and RA.
Courtney, if you are thinking that you may have CFS you need a proper doctor, that is familiar with the illness, in order to get you diagnosed.
If your doctor isn't familiar with it, and you come up with all these symptoms at once, the doctors seem to freak out, put you on antidepressants and send you packing. I don't want this to happen to you!!
Please try to find a Rheumatologist, or Naturopath (just suggestions as a starting point) that is familiar with CFS/ME! It's the only way to get a proper diagnosis.
Pleading with you not to push to hard at work. If you need to sit, sit. It you need to take some time off because you can't function, then please do. I found that if I had listened to my body sooner, and cut back on the "pushing" I was doing, I might have had a better outcome, than waiting till I collapsed!!!
We are here to help you!!! I wish you the best. xo
Finding a go Dr. is hard.If you have a Mayo Clinic by you try to go.I went to the one in Jax. FL and they were great! And try to ask alot of questions and then ask even more questions. This gives you to power to beat anything in your way.
