I have had another virus for about 3 months now and end of last week found out I have pneumonia too. I am so weak and tired it is unbearable.
I feel like I can't even move.
To top it off my pdoc is switching my meds around so the depression and anxiety are becoming high too.
It is times like these I wonder what the hell I am living for. This is no life.
I wish I knew what to do to feel better?

Sorry you're feeling so low. It is so awful to have viruses on top of CFS. I hope you find something which makes you feel a little better.

Sorry to hear. I've been through pneumonia with CFS once. I know you are really battling now. I hope you recover quickly. Because you are low on energy in the first place, you might need the extra help of a bit of oxygen. If you need it, you won't believe the amount of energy you will recover with just a bit of extra oxygen.

Wow yeh infections and viruses just make us feel so much worse, and you got the whammy, pneumonis. Rest up friend and take it really extra easy for a long time, the lungs are big organs so it will take you awhile. People commonly feel more depressed when they have ainfection or virus, I know I do. Yes, I do need more oxygen. I thought the other day I was feeling a bit better but the last couple I'm worse. I feel so sick, weak and tired.

Yes, I am already battling depression and this isn't helping. I have zero energy. On top of it my pdoc is switching my meds around.

I can totally relate to what you are going through. I'm really struggling with that question myself these days. I'll give you the same advice I give myself. Stay strong. You/we will get better (soon, I hope).

I too know what you're going through, that's how I found out I had chronic fatigue, from catching viruses time after time and never getting over them. Sometimes they would take months to get through, especially when I had coughs.

If a cough is part of the problem please consider taking a mucous cough OTC medication. It comes in pill form and it's got to have the words mucous cough on the bottle. I didn't know about it until my husband told me about it last Christmas when I was sick. This medication will not cure you but it will help suppress the coughing. God bless you sweetheart.

Thank you Jensie. I hope to feel better soon. It is such a struggle everday being so weak and tired. Even just trying to walk I feel like I'll fall in exhaustion. I'm thinking of asking to see a immunologist and also a good CFS doctor in Toronto.

Thank you Radiana. I only sometimes have a cough. I had very little cough with my pneumonia, but I will look into the cough medicine.
