Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) describes a sense of exhaustion and post-exertion malaise, even when you have gotten enough rest and sleep. I think that anything we go through emotionally kicks our CFS symptoms up a notch. Actually, sometimes I think emotional stress hurts me worse as far as making me feel weaker/sicker, than physical stress.
I'm sorry you had this break up. It happens!! It's always better to have someone else around us. We weren't made to be alone. A good, friendly breakup is better than a nasty fight. At least that part went well for you.
Hopefully, even if not with this particular person, you will try to engage with other people. Girlfriends are great at a time like this. I think we just need someone to talk to....to vent to. We're usually too sick to deal with big conversations and time consuming talks.
I hope you are able to replace this relationship in due time, when you have healed up, and are ready to start out again. Again, now Is the time a girlfriend would be a great comfort to you.
I wish you the best!! xo

I'm terribly sorry to hear of your break-up and the loneliness that followed.
I get this feeling quite often as most peeps don't really understand the medical problems I'm going thru. I find that I have to cancel plans at the last minute as I just don't have the energy or my pain levels aren't controllable.
I feel ya. I know what you are going thru. Please post on here anytime. I frequent this site often as it helps when I'm stuck home-bound.
Sincerely,
TheWino
