I will certainly be praying for all involved. The world is sure getting to be a scarier place.

The fires are not that far away, the bunyip fires have come down into townships, Marysville (a popular holiday destination as not far away) has been burnt out. Those fires are probably only 40km from us. We have also had fires nearer to us with 4 houses lost in neighbouring suburb (5 mins away) & 3 in another suburb 5 mins the other way, the main hwy sth gippsland hwy has been cut between about 2 streets away & Dandenong. All the traffic is coming down our street, you would think we live on a main hwy this weekend. One of David's nephews lives in Bendigo & his house & his neighbour are still standing but all around him homes have been burnt down. His yard was burnt almost to the front door (all the garden etc) so he has no pwr or gas because the poles were burnt down. We have had a lot of smoke here & had no power last night for 3 hours.
Yesterday was 46.4 -hottest day on record & today is 24 with some rain so a relief. Not enough rain to douse the fires though. Our lawns, peoples gardens, fruit areas etc are all badly sunburnt too.

My face on right side is bright red & feels like on fire from cheekbone down. This has caused right eye to almost shut & that side of mouth numb. I have taken antihistamine, pain killers & put cortisone cream on but still the same. Just watching it doesnt spread to neck/throat area as then I have more trouble breathing & asthma gets bad. left leg & arm are very weak today too so having a bit of trouble to put it mild.

May God be with you and protect you. I am praying that all the horrible fires in your area will be extinquished. Meanwhile, I pray that God will keep all the children, and all the people there, safe.

Ta, fires were less than 5km from home so very. close. Some still burning & smoke haze & smell is all over melbourne

Please continue to pray for our fires here, so far 210 confirmed dead, at least 30 missing & thousands (I think 10,000+) homes destroyed & many more damaged. Tomorrow is going to be another danger day with 36'c (over 100f I think) & strong winds. There are still some fires out of control so prayers are needed for all areas of Victoria.

Please pray for Victoria for tomorrow. We are expecting 32'c & gale force winds of up to 100km a hour & changing direction too. It is such a grave threat that a text message has been sent to all mobiles/cell phones warning of the grave danger. There is the danger of fires, winds causing power outages, & lightning strikes causing more fires. A lot of schools are closed tomorrow as are the gardens. Just heard that our Botannical gardens in my suburb are closed tomorrow for fear of the gale winds.
This is a very serious & fearful time for ALL of victoria in suburbs or country areas.
We need lots of prayer support please as well as all the fundraising that is already happening.
If I am not on line, you will know we have no power.

I know this isnt ms related as such but it is in that I know that many with ms have already been affected & the stress of course makes it worse, as well as the foul (smokey) air. Just heard another 2 of my ms friends that I know through physio/courses have been in hospital with ms flares. All health conditions are being affected.
