Christian Support Group Community Group
This is a place for everyone who loves Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior (or those who are seeking Him), to come and discuss important issues in their lives and find support from fellow believers in regards to their faith and life. We uphold the Bible and living a Christ-like life, not as a way to heaven, but as a reflection of our love for God.

So a few months ago, I had this dream that I was talking to God. Okay so it was more of a mental picture thing. I was thinking about the hard times that I had with my Dad before he died. He was not a nice man to begin with, and had always said hurtful things, but it just got worse when he got sick.
I was sitting in a small throne across from Him. I had my head bowed and my hands clasped together in front of me. I could not bring myself to look up. The most I saw of Him was His sandaled feet, The robe that flowed down His legs and pooled there. He had one foot level with the throne and the other was one step down. I could see the arms of the throne and His hands there.
Then something strangely miraculous happened. I seemed to leave my body and moved out and to the right (my right) side of us. I could clearly see me sitting there and the mental pictures flitting above my head. I still could not see my Lord above His waistline. But I remember that I looked so small and insignificant compared to Him. His robe was a brilliant white while mine was just a plain white cotton robe. I couldn't see my own face because my hair was hanging down and blocking any side view.
Everything else faded into a misty background.
I felt comforted and as if He really was listening to me. I don't remember Him speaking. When I woke up I knew the answer to the question that I hadn't known I had asked. And that was that there are no regrets in heaven. Only peace.
I woke up and immediately told my husband about my dream while we were having our coffee. He looked at me and said,
"You talked to God and that's all you got out of it? Why didn't you ask for lottery numbers?"
I laughed and looked at him, "If you want to talk to God and ask Him for lottery numbers be my guest! I'm not gonna do it!"
Now you have to understand that my husband uses humor to hide intense emotions. He was overwhelmed with my experience.
Just thought I would share.

If God is comforting you, and giving you such peace, I really wouldn't worry about lottery numbers either! In the end, I think God is more interested in us getting to know him better, than all the riches in the world. Having Him close beside us, is the richest life of all.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
