This is a place for everyone who loves Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior (or those who are seeking Him), to come and discuss important issues in their lives and find support from fellow believers in regards to their faith and life. We uphold the Bible and living a Christ-like life, not as a way to heaven, but as a reflection of our love for God.
I live in British Columbia in Canada. We have wonderful forests and lakes and mountains. Except the forests are on fire, the smoke is 10+ and I am allergic to smoke.
We won't even get into all the people evacuated or on evacuation notice.
Or all the fires in Washington, Oregon and California, Alaska and apparently Siberia and of course, Greece.
On the weekend, a thunderstorm went through BC and lightening started another 150 fires. That is a total of 600 fires burning, many out of control and spreading. I've seen a fire map of the western US and it is the same.
So, please pray for rain and cooler temperatures. This is the 4th year in a row for terrible fires for us. Thanks!
May Our Heavenly Father help those most impacted by water shortages and for the wisdom and charity to be good stewards of this precious gift. May our political leaders seek the common good as we learn to care and share God's gift of water .
