Feel lost

Feeling lost and deserted and on my own. 


Not seen my dauter in months, feel my wife has betrayed me. 


This can't be part of God's plan for me. 


I'm constantly trying to fight off ptsd and suicidal thoughts and ppl online are very nice, but the people in my life don't really care.

Are you and your wife in the same town (country) right now? I am sorry I missed lots of your updates.

Something I always noticed when I was depressed, was I felt no one cared about me, let alone loved me. When I got out of the depression, I'd realize it was the depression talking, all the time! So, I stopped the bad self talk and I was a lot better. I also learned to see my requests for help & attention to see if I was too demanding, or if they really didn't want to hear my whining anymore. Generally, it was my bad thought patterns!

Spiritually, do you read your Bible daily? I've been following a simple reading program since I was saved, 42 years ago. If anyone reads 3 chapters of the Old Testament and 1 chapter of the NT daily. That gets them through the Bible in a year. I've read the Bible about 55 times doing that! Also in other languages I speak. It really has built my faith over the years. Plus, I've seen God's people who are in the Bible. And how they hung onto God when things were falling apart.

I will be praying for you, to really practice some spiritual disciplines, it will help you grow into a calmer person who trusts God, and let's go of anxiety!
