I have joined this group as, I would love to have fellowship with other believers in Jesus. I would also like to share some of my story with you. I became a believer and accepted Jesus into my life 21 years ago. Isuppose I didnt have a good foundation..I read my bible and went to church and the Lord worked in my life healing me and bringing me joy..I had a childhood with neglect and alcoholism from my parents. I found my way through Jesus.
I didnt really keep connected to any believers and so thought i was Ok. I struggled with anxiety and ptsd,etc.
About 1.5 years ago , i met a friend and thought she was a Christian.. we bought bibles and read them together..but slowly i began to wonder . she gave me many precious stones and gifts of many kinds..which I would say no to and then she would tell me that i had a problem accepting gifts..so i took them..she would tell me that each stone would bring into my life a certain quality and then we used tuning forks..let me tell you i was so duped by this friend..I began worshipping idols and such and i suppose I was involved with the occult. I prayed the entire time and believed i was following God. I began to read these books by Neil Donald Walsh called conversations with God..I truly believed them..I stopped reading the bible and believing in it. (i feel ashamed) there is a reason I went through all this I know now..I hope it will benefit others by telling you this.
I will carry on with the story...I found a box that this woman had given me..in it she told me there were precious stones and they would bring good spirits into my life..it was sealed..one day I had a feeling to open it and I did..there were bones in it..!!!!! to make a long story short..she is a witch i am pretty sure. The box was a curse on me..I had been feeling really sick and in pain..also I saw her steal 4 times..again i cant believe I stayed friends with her..she was really nice to me at times..and flattered me alot..(beware).
I went through an awful demonic attack and went to the church..had laying on of hands and prayed for and delivered from all curses etc. Jesus is saving me..I can have no contact with this friend..I told her I have to follow Jesus and I wish and pray the best for her..She was quite angry at me.( I have visions of her hurting me) She is a master manipulator and liar. I am trying to forgive her. I just feel very betrayed by her. I did think she cared about me. My husband is good and trying to support me..we have been married 25 years and have 2 grown children. Satan is still trying to put thoughtsin my head that the bible might not be true..I am struggling and could use some prayers. Not sure who I can trust now??

I hope and pray we will be able to help you on this journey. God is going to heal your heart, and give you a passion to serve him. As for this so-called friend, you are very right to not see her anymore. She deceived you and probably did bring demons into your house. But a Christian can never be demon possessed because we have the Holy Spirit living within ourselves. We can be oppressed and sometimes that requires a lot of prayer, and fasting and even deliverance.
I just want you to know that God is in control. Whatever happened to you, God will use it for good. I know that seems hard to believe, but God says it in his word. Memorize this verse, and whenever you start to be angry at yourself for being deceived, say it to yourself, and pray it to God. Whenever you have doubts creep in, say it again. Or just say "God is in control". That is my comfort, through pain and suffering.

Father I pray for Kathilee, I ask you to cover her in the blood of Jesus to guard her mind againstall that is not from you. I pray for a hedge of angels to protect her from any and all evil and I ask you to bind any evil influenceand remove itfar fromher thatitcan neverreturn to harass her. I pray for spiritual and physical protection atthis time. I ask for you tobring true peaceinto her heart andmind that she may have good rest and be able to standstrongin her faith.

Nothing !!!! can seperate us from the Love of God. I will pray for a protective shield to be put around you and that our Lord will uplift you and give you decernment to know what is from Him. The Bible states that even the demons know who Jesus is. I believe they can quote scripture too if they want to and can use it to turn us away from the one and only True God. That is why we see so many different cultic religions in the world.

Draw closer to God by staying in God's Word. Don't listen to anything that would be contrary to what God says in the Bible. You already show signs of being discerning, as you know to stay away from anyone who would draw you into the occults which are evil and are not from God.
You came here, and I believe that God is guiding you to the right place to get support that is going to help you, as there are some very strong and Godly people who post here and who can help remind you how much you are loved by God.
