14 If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, leave that home or town and shake the dust off your feet. (the text note explains this is an act of a solemn warning to those who reject God's message).
And another: Matthew 7:6 New International Version (NIV)
6 “Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces. (the text note explains that teaching should be given according to the capacity of the learner).

1 Corinthians 5:11 (NIV)
11 But now I am writing to you that you must not associate with anyone who claims to be a brother or sister[a] but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or slanderer, a drunkard or swindler. Do not even eat with such people.
although this is a letter written by Paul to the church at Corinth, I don't think it really refers to family. I think it is meant more to avoid people like this. But, yes, I believe there should be distance put between you and anyone who is a non-Christian. There should be concern about their relationship with God, but.....their negative attitude and life style might affect you.
I pray you shall find the answer.
I feel like my husband is fighting God. I truly believe this. I feel the devils presence when he fusses t me. I finally confronted the devil once. I got feed up with His fussing and fighting with me. I sternly said, "Satan, you must leave. In the name of Jesus." I did not shout. I did say it loud. Suddenly, the fussing stopped. Suddenly the fighting stopped. I don't know exactly what happened, I just know it happened!!!
So, once again, I suggest that maybe they are fighting God. This "fussing" and "degrading" that they are doing might be their fighting God and Him working in their life.
Just my thoughts.
If your relationship with them hurts you or weakens your faith then I would limit my contact. I would not want to ever cut off contact with family unless the situation was so horrible it was completely necessary.
"4 But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, 5 he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. 8 This is a trustworthy saying. Again, not sure if it applies to family; I agree with what Paulina said, I'd find it very hard to not associate with immediate family. A counselor once told me I should find a way to have very limited contact with my parents because they're so verbally and emotionally abusive, but being the only daughter and only one of 2 nearby (the other isn't able to contribute much due to being on the autism spectrum), it was difficult. I prayed a lot about it, and then they just decided to move 2 hours away one day. So praise the Lord, things are better now, plus the distance gave me the opportunity to get a little thicker skin and feel more able to advocate for myself a bit. You just never know what's possible....
