There is so much sin and evil in this world, today. God warned us that there would be. We need to stay strong in the Lord and in His presence.

ok so as Christians who adult child or children are estranged from them: we must keep in the word daily, like medicine and not too always pray for the estrangement per say but we must really educate ourselfs about the Lords Love for us and his promises and keep them in our hearts, so that the rejection off children will not rob us, off our faith.

I'm writing to say that I have been suffering with my oldest daughter's estrangement from me that has been going on for several years already. It is so frustrating and stressful for me. I lost my mother when I was 6 years old, and 60 years later, at 66, I've lost my firstborn. She will have nothing to do with me. She will not tell me what I did to bring this about. I have reached out to her with letters and phone calls, with no effort on her part. She basically treats me like I do not exist. Thanksgiving was very uncomfortable, and Christmas will be as well. I will be turning 66 on December 10th. I will not be receiving a birthday card, gift, or visit. I have decided to stop trying to reconcile this on my own. I've put her in God's hands, and she'll have to be accountable some day for what she's done to me. I have forgiven her, but I feel for my own mental health, I will now leave her alone to do what she wants and that is she wants nothing to do with me. I don't know how biblical this situation is, but it's the only thing I can bring myself to do. I've prayed and prayed and have received no answers to the problem. This all started almost 9 years ago. Nothing has changed much except now we are not talking to each other at all. She simply ignores me. I can't take it.
