CHRISTIAN PARENTS of ESTRANGED ADULT CHILDREN Community Group
Estrangement makes it difficult to talk about with family, friends, neighbors and church members. Christians are NOT immune to broken families. Talk about your experiences with those who know how you feel and get positive support through your Christian faith...."In these last days difficult times will come, for men will be lovers of self...disobedient to parents,...
I've allowed myself to be free of the guilt and pain of a toxic daughter.
But the Bible prepared us for even this this - that in the last days a man's enemies would be those of his own household. Matt. 10:6
I strongly believe we are (meaning those of here in our age group) are of the the last generation who remembers how great our country once was and we were raised with Christian morals and principles, even if some did not attend a house of worship - it was just how it was then - seemed everyone tried to live by "the golden rule".
And I also believe there is so much estrangement of grandparents our age from our grandchildren, because it is Satan's way of keeping our Christian influence out of their lives.
I really, really believe this!

I lift my ED up in prayer, but I've released myself from feeling responsible for her. She has created her own turmoil, and I am free from trying to keep her love through gifts and money. I'm more than happy to spend that time and money on my son who is loyal and wonderful.
Sylvia, you don't need to know every painful thing. Free yourself from the hurt.....
In all my 48 years, I have never seen spiritual warfare as up_close and personal as I have in our estrangement from our daughter. It is very real and more difficult than I ever dreamed of. My husband reminds me that the darkness hates the light.
She is turning 40 in August. Thank you all for your comments. It means a lot to be able to talk to people who understand what it's like.
