I am asking for prayer for my husband who slipped on a wet floor at a gas station today, broke his femur and is in the hospital, scheduled for surgery tomorrow morning 7:30 AM central time. He has diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholestral also. The doctor also needs prayer for guidance.
You know I called my ES's cell on his birthday, broke my heart to hear his voice, which I didn't plan on, and so have been sad since and trying to be happy again. Now my husband is in pain and again, my heart is broken.
I have been praying nonstop today asking God to take care of my husband and let me feel his presence. So far I am not feeling it, but I know he is with me.

Get sleep ! It is a gift from God for healing and restoration. If needed, please do ask for sleep meds sooner rather than later.
I have to admit that if it were me and my DH had gone in for a broken bone only to find out that the break was insignificant in comparison to what was discovered as a result. Then add to it, a son that previously has not shown any interest in either of you and now you have to be stressed out as to whether or not to call and inform him of his dads health crisis.
Dr. G works with the U of M doctor we are going to see Wednesday. She said she wants to start a drug for kidney cancer. Dr. Cho wants to start radiation after Memorial Day when his stitches have healed and suggests 5 double doses because he is otherwise quite healthy. Otherwise it would have been 10 doses.
I'll keep you posted on Wednesday's visit. Then we will decide if we are going to go to the Mayo.
