Tomorrow evening our church is holding prayer, it will include many community leaders, the sheriff, some police officers, a few judges, some counsel people etc. We are coming together for an hour of corporal prayer for one of the members of our church. For privacy I'll refer to her as Bee. She is the daughter of a couple at our church and she has a young daughter herself. 3 months ago she went missing. Her cell, purse, keys were left in her house, her car in the driveway. Her daughter was spending the night with grandparents and was due to be picked up the next day. Bee did not answer her friend's calls so she went to check on her and she was gone, no sign, no trace, nothing. It was cold, it was dark, no one knows what happened to her. We've had a giant billboard up, put out flyers, she's been all over the news locally, rewards posted, search dogs used, other search parties from out of state called in...nothing. Her parents and her daughter are so stricken with worry and grief and are stuck in this limbo of not knowing where she went, if she left on her own or was taken. She is a good person, isn't in trouble with the law, isn't on drugs that anyone was aware of, recently graduated college after going back to school, went into business with her friend last fall and their business was doing well. I didn't know Bee well, but none of us can imagine that she just walked away from her family, we really do feel like something has happened, or someone took her. For my own privacy in not revealing much of my identity or where I live I can't give real specifics, but I am asking you all here, tomorrow evening to say a prayer that Bee comes home, is found, that the family can get answers. It's been just over 3 months and they have been in agony with no leads panning out, no answers, no closure. We all hope that she will be found alive, found safe, that there will be a way she can get back to her family, but we also realize that she would probably do everything in her power to get back to her daughter so the idea that she's no longer with us, while it isn't being spoken out loud, does loom in the silence. If that is the case then the family at least needs closure and the ability to know once and for all so they can begin that grief process.
Please say a prayer for Bee to be returned to her loved ones and for them to find peace in this difficult time. We've had other times of prayer, vigils, and community searches, but this one is a much larger gathering. It will be between 7-8 pm. Thank you

I'm headed down there early, the vigil is in 3 hours. I will definitely update if any news comes. I personally have put out flyers locally as I live a bit farther from our church and so I posted signs near greyhound stops, interstate gas station stops, libraries, hospitals, laundry mats, and I think someone put signs up inside all the womens bathrooms in the multiple parks in that city. There's a large amount of homeless people and they are more likely to respond anonymously to a flyer up in a bathroom than if you approach them. So many efforts have been exhausted in the 3+ months. I'll continue to update if more information comes to light. Thank you all for your prayers.
