My dh has been sick past few days and was going to take to emergency room,High BP,fluid build up 7lb weight gain,fever.And tried to contact son and dil by phone no one called back,Isnt this a sad situation we have made a emergency route in case we have to be transferred to hospitals out of town.We cant depend on our kids wow.How heartbreaking.

My sisters and I took care of our mom till she passed also,and i dont regrete a day of it and would do it all over again.Dh and I have discussed if we have to go to hospital we call 911 and the other will drive to hospital,and iif we have to be transferred to a hospital out of town just get a cab thats why we have cc and deal with it later.We have no one dh says its you and me.Its scaryto think one of us will be alone but its going to happen someday.

This is all so sad. One Christmas we had to cancel dinner plans with the kids because DH was having chest pains. When we phoned his daughter to tell her that we were going to the hospital and could no longer have everyone over, as planned, she said, " "WHATEVER!!!"

Mommadarling, I find that "whatever" remark from your DH's daughter beyond sad!! That hurts me deep...there just aren't words sometimes for this awful place our kids are in and the pain we all suffer from their spiritual sicknesses!

I can't wait for the day when God throws that devil in the lake of fire, my hate for him and what he does to us grows daily the more I understand how great his evil is towards us and our children!

I am so sorry you have such a sad Christmas memory as this sounds to me!!
