CHRISTIAN PARENTS of ESTRANGED ADULT CHILDREN Community Group
Estrangement makes it difficult to talk about with family, friends, neighbors and church members. Christians are NOT immune to broken families. Talk about your experiences with those who know how you feel and get positive support through your Christian faith...."In these last days difficult times will come, for men will be lovers of self...disobedient to parents,...
It is never pleasant to be rejected by our own children! There are many awesome moms here who have much wisdom and experience dealing with their ECs. Hope you are able to find peace and comfort here while we all try to cope and deal with our own situations.
Don't look at this estrangement as a lifetime. Take one day at a time. Thing may very well change in the future and possibly the near future. I have no idea how things will end with this, but I have faith that my son can't walk away from his parents forever. I have decided to not live the rest of my life like this and I do have goals for myself. The holidays are always hard but with the New Year it is getting better. For DH and I, snowstorms and freezing temps are a blessing in disguise because they help us to keep busy and refocus out thoughts.
Psalms 55:22 ...."Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved."
I truly believe this
We are here for you and the Lord will help you one day at a time as GuelsMom said.
God bless you.
