I told my EDs that I pray for them everyday. They knew this before they went silent. I still pray for them, for God to change their hearts and help them to reject the evil from the PAS.

There have been times I included the words "praying for you" during rare periods when we were texting.Sometimes it went ignored but one time ED said thank you. God can use those words in His timing and in His way. He can soften their hearts. The enemy is strong but God is greater.

I'm so glad that many of you are able to send messages to your children, even if they do not respond. I've had no reaction from my daughter. I don't have her current email, phone, or address…She has blocked me from every avenue without any explanation... I have no way of contacting her, but I do pray for her every day and I'm confident she knows that.

All we can do is pray and trust God when He says His Word will not return void.

I haven't told him that lately, but I told him back when he was semi estranged. I am afraid if I tell him that now, I would just get an eye roll, or it would make him even madder that he already is. He knows I pray, but his heart is hard right now. So what I am currently doing is just sending little "I love you...hope you are having a great week" texts about once a month. I have not gotten any response. And I pray constantly for God to soften his heart and help him remember his family and remember how much we love him.

It is a perfect message

If I knew where my ES is, I would tell him this. I figure God hears me, so that's all that matters.

The most we can do for our EC is to pray for them. He hears!

It's been three years now that we've been estranged from our son. I texted or email at least once a month to just say I love you, I miss you, and your Dad and I continue to pray for you. He never response. I used do struggle wondering if did the right thing, but now I am growing to understand that it is not for me to worry about what is the right or Wong thing to say or do, it IS only my place to lift it all about to God in prayer, and trust that whatever I say or do, God is able and will use it to bring about His good and perfect will.

On a side note, I have also begun telling my adult children that I am not estranged from that I am praying for the,. I realized that I had not been telling them. I don't get a response from them either. I think they are not quite sure how to respond, but I think it is important that when snare praying for people,my hat we let them know.
