CHRISTIAN PARENTS of ESTRANGED ADULT CHILDREN Community Group
Estrangement makes it difficult to talk about with family, friends, neighbors and church members. Christians are NOT immune to broken families. Talk about your experiences with those who know how you feel and get positive support through your Christian faith...."In these last days difficult times will come, for men will be lovers of self...disobedient to parents,...
HOPE? Yep, I live by hope for our ES & ED-inlaw although I will admit that as time increases and nears the decade mark, it does dwindle as each year goes by. With the biggest problem being the DIL and her insecurity issues and her narcissistic personality, it truly will have to come by the hand of God working in her heart before our ES will take as stand against her wishes. But, I never give up on God's handiwork! I have seen lives changed in dramatic ways and I know that if it is in His plan, it will happen.
God Bless,
M2G
But we do have hope and we do have prayer. Where would we be without hope and prayer?
How do you manufacture hope when there doesn't seem to be much? Is it possible? I know God can work wonders, and He often does...in a way, I have just had to give it over to Him and move on with my life without them. :-( :-(
Even God said "My Spirit will not ALWAYS strive with man"
How much pain can one mother bear? How much rejection? How much is too much?
Which is why I am dreading seeing her again...I am afraid I will have to start the process all over again. :-(
